ATC’s Decommissioning Process

  • Step 1: Meet with the client

    ATC meets with the client to establish the specific requirements for the decommissioning service.

  • Step 2: Route planning

    ATC returns with a staged plan outlining required actions, stakeholders, permissions, and other key information based on the initial discussions.

  • Step 3: Rack removal

    ATC prepares and removes the racks safely from the data center.

  • Step 4: Secure Transport

    ATC securely transports end-of-life (EOL) equipment to the designated location.

  • Step 5: Data removal

    ATC performs a data scrub to ensure all data is securely removed from the equipment.

  • Step 6: Equipment recycling

    ATC oversees the recycling process and issues the client a certificate of destruction.
